Emma and Denyse hosted an event in memory of their dear friend who sadly passed away last year and wanted to raise funds for the PF Trust to help others living with pulmonary fibrosis.
A fairy-tale picnic took place in the afternoon where you could meet fairy-tale characters, do a treasure hunt, watch a puppet show and loads more. There was then a cabaret evening with live music, and a raffle.
Emma and Denyse are part of The Cherries, which is a swing/jazz vocal duo covering songs from the 1940s onwards. Alongside hosting the events, The Cherries sang throughout the day.
A total of £1,936.94 was raised through online ticket sales, and the raffle, which is absolutely amazing. This is a huge amount and will make such a difference to the work we do.
