Liza Clarke has challenged herself to hike the 95 Ethels of the Peak District. The Ethels (named after Ethel Haythornthwaite) are hills, tors, edges and trigs mostly over 400m above sea level. She is hiking to raise awareness and funds for the devastating illness called Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF).
Liza’s Nan lost her life to this condition some 40 years ago and now it has affected another close family member. Although 40 years have passed since her Nan’s death, she is still astounded that research and knowledge of this disease has basically stood still. It is sadly often misdiagnosed by GP.
Help support Liza with her amazing fundraiser here.
